Dr. Thomas Brookes

Dr. Brookes is a longtime Wheat Ridge area resident. He is a Wheat Ridge High School graduate and began his advanced education at Colorado State University, graduating with a degree in Biological Science. He then attended Pacific University College of Optometry and received his Doctorate in Optometry in the spring of 1976. His Wheat Ridge practice opened in early 1977.

Dr. Brookes attends continuing education programs monthly and has achieved advanced certifications in Expanded Scope of Practice, Ocular Therapy and Advanced Ocular Treatment. He is also certified in Glaucoma treatment as well as Cataract and Lasik Surgery Co-Management. Dr. Brookes is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Colorado Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry.

Merry

Merry is our office manager and also a certified dispensing optician. She will help you choose eyewear that you will enjoy wearing. Her specialties are fashion, sun, sports, safety and computer eyewear. Merry enjoys helping you select eyeglasses that are just right for you and your lifestyle! She also makes adjustments and repairs to your existing eyewear if needed!

Michelle

Michelle is the newest member of our team. She is our office administrator. Michelle handles insurance eligibility verification, claims and payments. You can make your payment arrangements with Michelle anytime during our business hours.  Michelle is growing in her "optical skills" daily and loves the fashion side her job. She can also adjust, repair and refit your glasses if you have a mishap or just need a tuneup.
